Hello everyone and a happy new year to all from us at The Stags Company. I hope that everyones festive period was filled with large suppers, plenty of wine and cracking company. As we move into the new year The Stags Company are currently in the process of planning a fantastic summer period. Matches for the Stags Cricket team are already being organised, with a total of at least 6 matches confirmed already its looking to be a good summer.
This year I want to focus on the cricket matches and turn them into slightly more of a spectacle. Encouraging more to attend and enjoy the social aspect with the possibility of organising food and drinks for the games if the interest is there. Alongside expanding the social avenue of the cricket, another of our focuses this year is to set up and run one or two larger events with one hopefully taking place in London (only time will tell if we manage to pull this off!!). Although this is not definite, I feel it is important to set some goals for the company to try and achieve this year. We are certainly aiming higher than last year but I'll will be putting in twice the amount of effort to aid in achieving these goals.
In the year 2023 we will also be exploring the possibility of creating a Stags Company Rugby Sevens team, with the intention of entering the team into various sevens festivals in years to come so watch this space.
Finally I wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who has supported The Stags Company last year. Whether that be the cricket side, engaging in the instagram or helping me expand the company. All your support means the world to me and I wouldn't be able to do any of this without the support and interest of so many people so, THANK YOU! I hope that everyone has a wonderful and positive start to 2023 and I hope to see many of you over the summer.
