Hello all who have stumbled across this post, I hope that your Easter weekend was filled with laughter, roast lunches and copious amounts of wine. Having just setup The Stags Company official website I thought I should write a small piece about the current centre piece of the company which is of course Stags Cricket Club. When I first created the club in 2019 I honestly didn't think it would get the reception that it did. However to my surprise and delight it has captured the interest of so many people and I will be forever grateful for this.
This season we have the excitement of a new sponsor for the team, Lakedown Brewing Co. A local brewery based in Heathfield, East Sussex. I am beyond excited about the various opportunities that this presents the club with and we as a team a look forward to working with them and introducing our followers and supporters to this magnificent locally made beer.
If you have a look at the events section on our home page you can see that we have many exciting games lined up this season, taking us all over Sussex and hopefully spreading the word about The Stags Company and everything that comes with it. Unlike previous years, this year I want to focus on building the social side of the club. Creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for people of all walks of life and sporting ability. It is for this reason that I have created the website and put all of the fixtures on the home page along with the location and timings so that it makes it as easy as possible for people to come along and enjoy what The Stags Company has to offer.
I am so pleased with the direction that the company is heading in and I look forward to what the future holds. See you all this summer!
